Rapseed extrtraction

Rapeseed, also known as rape, oilseed rape, rapa or rapaseed is known by a scientific name, Brassica
napus. It is a bright yellow flowering member of the brassicaceae family, the family to which mustard or
cabbage belong. It is the third most important source of vegetable oil in the world, after soybean and palm
oil. Once the oil has been extracted from the rapeseeds, a by product is left behind called rapeseed meal,
which forms a good source of food for animals. Having very high lipid content and proteins, the meal
forms a good source of nutritive protein food and energy feed for animals and can also be used to replace
soya bean meal
